Aug US inflation inches a bit higher.

Via ECRI

The ECRI US future inflation gauge increased in August after four consecutive declines. The USFIG edged up to 99.5 from 98.5 in July. "Despite its August uptick, the USFIG remains near July's nine-month low. Thus, US inflation pressures are still in a cyclical downswing," says Lakshman Achuthan, ECRI director.
